01

Keep you in the picture

Face the camera in a natural pose with your arms relaxed and visible. Leave room around your head and feet. Soft, even light and a simple background help details show. Mirror selfies can work; keep your phone from hiding too much of your outfit.

02

Give each garment a clear view

Lay it flat or photograph it on a mannequin or a person facing forward. Show the entire piece, with no edges cropped out. Keep the angle straightforward and avoid heavy overlap. Point shoe toes toward the bottom of the photo.

03

Let OutfitMe separate the pieces

A photo can include more than one item. Choose which pieces you want to upload and let the app extract them. Start with clear, visible items, then explore your collection through search and AI matching.

A friend can help with the shot, but your existing photos are a good place to start.
